Here, Eliana and Trooper are getting to know eachother a little better. She just loves the animals - I always know when one of them is in her view. She starts babbling in a very high-pitched voice and gets a huge smile on her face.

Trooper & the Princess
I just had to take some pictures of Eliana today - all decked out in her "princess gear." We don't do bows much, but I felt the crown on her shirt warranted a hair bow.

A Beautiful Day in January!
The boys didn't have school today and it turned out to be a beautiful day. After spending the morning playing V-smile & watching a movie, we went and had lunch with Nathan. Once we got home, I really just wanted to take a nap but I knew the boys would want no part of it. They asked to go out in the backyard and blow bubbles. Since it was so nice, I took Eliana's ExerSaucer out and we hung out for a while.

Sippy Cup & Sitting Up
2010 has already been a big year! Yesterday Eliana tried a sippy cup for the first time with just some diluted apple juice. She actually really loved it and cried when I pulled it away. Here she is have a snack of her "Baby Mum Mums" and juice.
What Happens when 5-year olds Hijack your Camera?
The other day Joshua asked if he could try to take a picture with my camera. I said "sure, why not?" So, I let him take one of me (which I deleted). Then he asked if he could take a picture of Jaron. I allowed him to take it in the next room for just a few minutes. I heard both he and Jaron snap a few pictures, then I asked to take a look. Here is what I found:

Happy 6 Month Birthday!
December 2009
Happy New Year everyone! I realize I'm very late with this post, but as with everyone, December was a very busy month for us.

Here are some highlights:
We had a few good weather days, so we tried to take advantage and take the kids to the park. Nathan has been teaching the boys how to ride their bikes without training wheels. They've done great! Here they are at Brushy Creek park in field riding for the first time.
About the second week of December, we finally put up our Christmas tree. I pretty much let the boys decorate it all on their own. We take turns each year with who gets to do the star and this year was Jaron's turn. Later in the month the boys and I made and decorated Christmas cut-out cookies.

Of course, it was Eliana's first Christmas:

The boys got everything they wanted! Joshua asked Santa for Bakugans, a new backpack and a skateboard. Jaron only asked for Dragons and more zoo animals.

All in all, it was a great Christmas! I was sad to see it all end. We are truly blessed beyond measure and can't wait to see what 2010 has in store the Guajardo family!
