Fishing at Brushy Creek Lake Park

Well, we obviously have much to catch-up on since our last post was before Christmas. But instead, I'm just gonna jump right in and pick-up with today. The last two days have been gorgeous. 70s in January...you can't get much better than that! So, we decided to take advantage and spend the weekend at the park. We decided to take the boys fishing today after church. We haven't been since the summer and they've been begging to go. The weather was beautiful, so we loaded up the poles, the gear and some folding chairs and headed to Brushy Creek Lake Park. We actually caught two fish while we were there. We got a picture of one...the teeny, tiny one down at the bottom. The other one, we unfortunately forgot to take a picture of...Nathan let it go before I got a chance to get my camera. The other one was bigger...really.

Ahhh...this nice weather has us longing for spring and daylight savings time when we can spend more time with the boys outdoors. Can't wait!
