Saturday evening was the Blue and Gold Banquet for Cub Scouts. It was a "Texas Barbeque" theme so everyone was encouraged to wear boots & cowboy hats.

The event also included a "Dad & Lad" cake decorating contest. I had the idea to bake a cake in my batter bowl and they could decorate it like a volcano. I got a small set of dinosaurs to place around it. The boys loved it. They were pretty proud of their creation. They didn't win, but it was still fun!
The boys also earned their Tiger badges. Nathan went on stage for the face painting ceremony and to pin their badges on them. They worked so hard for these and I'm so proud of them and Nathan for all of their hard work during the past few months.
