The end of March and April started to bring warmer weather, so we started spending as much time as we could outdoors before the triple-digit temperatures hit. Whether it be just sitting out on the driveway watching the kids play or playing at the park with friends, we enjoyed the spring air whenever possible. It was fun getting together with old friends we hadn't seen in a long time. We met up with Erin, Aidan and Addison for a couple of playdates at the park where Eliana got to sit in a big girl swing for the first time!

Busy
As you can imagine, life is incredibly busy with three kids -- two about to finish Kindergarten and one almost full-time toddler! Since March we purchased a "new to us" truck from my brother, Wayne. It was a blessing from God at just the right time. Then, within about three days Nathan sold his Honda for the exact amount we needed to pay off the truck. We had a pretty low-key spring break. Shortly after spring break, my Grandfather passed away. It was a very difficult loss for all of us. Of course, it's always so bittersweet...dealing with the loss of a loved one while seeing so many friends and family you never see often enough. We were all very blessed to have known such a great man. I regret that my boys didn't know him better but I'm thankful for the visits we made up to Killeen to visit after Eliana was born. Here are a few pictures of family at the afterward. I know he was there in spirit and enjoyed seeing everyone together that day.
