The final display we saw was an entire cul-de-sac of homes that had done a "Twas the Night Before Christmas" theme. Each home had a scroll detailing the story along with a nice little light display. It was amazing to me how the families worked together to get this done!

Cedar Park Tour of Christmas Lights
It was decided that this year would be the first year that Austin would no longer host the Trail of Lights. Honestly, it wasn't ever really my thing -- especially with the kids with the parking, the shuttle, the crowds. This year, I kept seeing friends' posts on facebook and updates on the news about neighborhoods and home with great Christmas light displays. So, one evening we took the family to see the three top light displays in Cedar Park. I think my favorite was from the first three pictures below. This was all at ONE house. Their light display was set to music and you could even tune your radio into a specific radio station to hear the music and watch the lights from your car.
